Bible Study Series To Commence in February

Beginning in February 2010, Pennamma Bhavanam will publish a regular bible study series according to the lectionary of Sunday services followed by the CSI/CNI/Marthoma Churches. We will circulate the bible studies (electronically at first) among priests and church workers, irrespective of denomination, in order to aid them in their reflections on the lectionary text and their preparations of their Sunday sermons. The study will particularly aim for a contemporary social analysis of Indian society in order to help church workers re-examine and reflect on current social realities specific to Indian culture and society. Later on, we plan to circulate hard copies of the Bible study series as well for those who do not have access to the Internet.
